METRO Wholesale Myanmar Partners Up with Fresco Myanmar

After the announcement of official market entry on 8 March 2019 and while building an innovative and market-leading distribution business that focusses on lifting the standards of the fresh food, the cold-chain, frozen-chain, the farm to fork initiatives, the full traceability as well as creating sustainable business model in the country, METRO Myanmar, an E-commerce driven, German based FSD announced today that it has joined with local fruit and vegetable firm, Fresco Myanmar for an exclusive partnership aimed at its HoReCa (Hotel , Restaurant and Catering) Channel.
Jens Michel, CEO of METRO Wholesale Myanmar said; “We’re extremely delighted to enter this exclusive partnership with Fresco Myanmar for the distribution of Fruits and Vegetable to our HoReCa customers. As we are trying to achieve a ratio of 75 % of all of our products, we are selling from domestic sourcing and 25 % will be imported which is a fantastic commitment to become a sustainable business in Myanmar. The Partnership will allow both companies to focus on our respective strengths of high-quality products development and distribution.”
